Curveballs for Jobu 5/28/11

Curveballs for Jobu is Offbasepercentage's daily trip around the ballparks.

Today's honorary bat boy is Jeff Reboulet.

Apologies in advance for the brevity of this Jobu. Somebody drank too much bourbon in the French Quarter last night. And, damn, did everybody have a golden sombrero last night? All right, let's get to it. I have a full day of nursing this hangover and trying to grow a Jeff Reboulet mustache.

Royals 12, Rangers 7 (14).
Eric Hosmer, Melky Cabrera and someone named Brayan Pena all hit 14th inning homers off of David Bush. Bush gave up 5 earned in the one inning of work. Way to channel your inner Vin Mazzaro.

Rays 5, Indians 0.
David Price struck out 12 Indians in 7 innings. The box score also said that Casey Kotchman hit a home run but I'm fairly certain someone just did a lousy job fact checking on that one.

Angels 6, Twins 5.
Peter Bourjos is fast. How do I not get paid more for this valuable insight?

Giants 5, Brewers 4.
Brandon Carwford grand slammed in his major league debut.

Diamondbacks 7, Astros 6.
Sean Burroughs!

Phillies 6, Mets 4.
Sure, the Mets lost again but at least Pedro Beato wasn't terrible. K-Rod on the other hand...

Other games, but down here...
Red Sox 6, Tigers 3.
Blue Jays 4, White Sox 2.
A's 6, Orioles 2.
Mariners 4, Yankees 3.
Pirates 4, Cubs 2.
Nationals 2, Padres 1.
Reds 5, Braves 1.
Cardinals 10, Rockies 3.
Dodgers 3, Marlins 1.
